A helicopter that flew for search and rescue operation at Tatopani could not find a proper place to land.
Shamsher Nepali, a police constable at Border Police Post is a confirmed fatality while police inspector Keshav Shah, whose condition is said to be critical, is still awaiting treatment.
The whereabouts of foreign tourists staying at The Last Resort of Tatopani, bordering China, is still unknown, according to authorities. It is reported that many tourists were staying at the resort at the time of the earthquake. Authorities have, however, failed to pinpoint the numbers of missing foreigners and their nationalities.
