Nepal was struck by a 7.9 rector scale earth quake on 12th of Baisakh. The outcome of it is devastating. The continuous after shocks and another earth quake on Tuesday have added up more to it. The condition of Rasuwa is no better than any other place. There have been a total of 575 deaths among which 560 of the corpse have been handed over to the respective families. Some bodies are still missing and are being searched for.
Police informed that the bodies which were bur!ed by the dry landslide are being dug. Current reports say that 752 are injured till now and 950 of people in Rasuwa have been helped and rescued. It is also said that 250 of the people are still missing. According to the locals the number are still on a verse to increase. Around 400 of the locals and the foreigners are lost in Langtang among which 128 of dead bodies have been dug out where as 150 have been re$cued alive. It’s said that due to the avalanche the work has become more diff!cult.
Similarly Nepal Police, metropolitan police, Nepal army and Chinese metropolitan police are cleaning the mess and searching for the missing people because of the dry lands slide in Rasuwa. The police have reported that among the bur!ed people, 16 are still missing. Since the falling of stones and rocks from the top has still not stopped, it is still very risky to work there. 11 drivers and co drivers of containers from China which were here to provide relief materials are still missing.
Even thought the police informed that 80 were missing, relatives say there are more. Some survivors have been brought to Kathmandu for medical treatment, where as many have migrated to other safe places. Reports say that 1 thousand 200 people have already left their homes and moved to the base of Nuwakot.
