First Interntaional Yoga Day celebrated in Indian Embassy, Kathmandu, Nepal, . Sunday Marks the first-ever international Yoga Day. Yoga Day is also celebrated in Nepal. Many Actor Actress who we called celebriteis and nepali political leaders of Nepal are also engaed in celebration of Yoga day in Nepal. Manisha Koirala, Haribansha Acharya and Madan Krishna Light up the candle and started the celebration. We can see in video that there is a huge crowd of people gathered with their mats preapred to carry out many different postures. 

Over 800 people including actors Manisha Koirala, Hari Bansha Acharya, Madan Krishna Shrestha and Mala Limbu, members of Nepal-Bharat Friendship Societies, members of all major schools of Yoga in Nepal, officials of Nepal Government and the Indian Embassy, and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya participated at the Yoga event organized by the Indian Embassy at its premises in Lainchaur on Sunday.Vice President Parmanand Jha was the chief guest of the program that incorporated 30 minutes of Yoga postures and breathing exercises followed by lectures from Yoga scholars Swami Arun Anand from Osho Tapoban, Shri Niraj Kohli, Director of IAHV Art of Living, and Shri Lava Dev Mishra, Center In-charge of Patanjali Yogpeeth. The program also saw the release of 'Yog Sandesh', a souvenir on the Indian physical, mental, and spiritual discipline. It was launched jointly by Vice President Jha and Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae. Similarly, Isha Foundation, a nonprofit organization, conducted "pre-yoga" sessions at the Annapurna Hotel at Durbar Marg on the same day. Each of the three sessions held during the day saw enthusiastic participation of more than a hundred individuals of all age groups and different backgrounds. Mandana Mishra, a co-teacher said, "Yoga in its strictest form involves a long term commitment. But the 90 minute sessions being conducted here by facilitators flown in from the ashram at Tamilnadu, India aims to teach the participants just the basic forms of Yoga they could practice daily without heavier spiritual investment demanded by its strictest form." And in keeping up with the enthusiasm shown by the more than a thousand participants that turned up in their different events conducted since June 7 at places like British Council and Norvic Hospital to mark the first ever observance of the International Day of Yoga, Isha Foundation plans to mobilize its volunteers to continue conducting such Yoga sessions every three months.
